P.E. Assignments
April 27, 2008
The latest Journal assignments can be found here.
They have been scanned by a fellow OCPE organization and are copied here. These assignments are due weekly and should be printed off and kept in each students journal. Students must also have a contract on file with Ray Parker. This form should be completed and signed by both student and parent prior to requesting the coach to sign the OCPE paperwork and can be found here.
Competitive Fencers Assignments
Each competitive fencer should have a journal for each years fencing accomplishments. At the beginning of the season (or when you join the competitive ranks) you should complete the assignments below and include in the journal. Assignments #0 and #1 should be turned in on loose leaf to the coach.
#0 Season goals
- local, national, international (if
applicable)
- ranking expectations (either classification
or national pts)
#1 Why I like fencing
#2 Tournament results
#3 Bout notes from all tournaments
- score
- notes on opponent
- what worked what didn't
#4 Cross training log
- activity outside of salle
#5 List of tournaments in which you plan to complete
As a final note, you definitely want to get these
done on time, and complete. Not to do so would result in...well,
it makes me shudder to think of it.
