Texas Fencing Academy Programs
Youth Classes
Introductory
classes for children of all ages are on Monday and Wednesday
evenings from 6:00 to 7:15 p.m., with open bouting from 7:15
to 9:00 p.m. Equipment is provided for introductory classes.
Children should wear sneakers, long socks, and long athletic
pants. Your child wants to be Luke Skywalker, so why not have
them do it in a fun and safe environment?
Adult Classes
Introductory classes for Adults, ages 18 and up, are on Thursday
evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and begin on the first Thursday
of every month. Equipment is provided. Fencers should wear
sneakers, long socks, and long athletic pants. Your inner
child wants to be Luke Skywalker, so why not do it in a fun
and safe environment?
Competitive Classes
Texas Fencing Academy generates National level champions
through its competitive programs for both youth fencers and
adults in Foil with Coach Ray Parker and Epee with coach Mike
Hall. Competitive conditioning and classes happen Monday,
Tuesday, and Wednesday from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. with open bouting
until 9:00 p.m. Come learn to crush your opposition!
UT's Informal Classes (Spring Semester)
Here's a great way to get introduced to fencing! Registration
is done through the University of Texas' Informal Class program
and the instruction is here at TFA with our coaches and assistants.
